Our Story

 Hi! We are Jacob and Heidi Beaudry. We both grew up in Coos Bay, graduated from Marshfield High School and then left to go to college. After graduating from Humboldt State University, we moved to Maui in 2006. Enjoying the island life, we put down roots, working in Maui's tourism industry. In 2013, Jake left his art consultant/director job and began working for a close friend, learning the construction trade, building luxury homes and remodeling condos along the westside of the island. With a background in art, Jacob found that his passion is to create with this hands. 

Shortly after Jake's career move, I made a similar move, leaving my job on a sailing catamaran and started working in vacation rental management. A year later, Jake started encouraging me to start my own cleaning business. It took a little coaxing, but once I took the leap, I quickly found that I loved owning and running my own business!

In August 2017, Jacob became a licensed general contractor. By October 2017, we had sold our condo, moved back to the Bay Area and began our company, Harbor Construction and Design.

Harbor Construction and Design is committed to providing great service to Oregon’s Bay Area. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for this community and want to be a part of the investment, growth and betterment of our hometown for the next generation. We believe that happens, one person at a time, one project at a time, and in partnership with others in our community.
